Gable Privacy Policy

Last Updated: May 18, 2026

This is the privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) that governs how we, Gable Inc. (“Company”, “we”, “our” or “us”), use Personal Information (defined below) that we collect, receive and store about individuals in connection with the use of the website https://www.gable.to/ (together with any of its subdomains) and any other websites through which Company makes its services available, including our mobile software application called "Gable" and available at: https://gable.onelink.me/N40j/GABLE21, via tablets and any other smart device applications, and any other website that we operate (together with their subdomains, content and services, shall be hereinafter the “Site” or “App”).

We do not ourselves host any of the services — all hosting is done by third party service providers that we engage. This means that data you provide us or that we collect from you (including any Personal Information, as defined below) – as further described in this Privacy Policy – is hosted with such third party service providers on servers that they own or control. Their servers may be located anywhere in the world, including the US. By using our Site, you consent to your data being transferred to and processed by these third party service providers.

  1. Introduction. We have implemented this Privacy Policy because your privacy, and the privacy of other users, is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains our online information practices and the choices you can make about the way your Personal Information is collected and used in connection with the Site. “Personal Information” means any information that may be used, either alone or in combination with other information, to personally identify an individual, including a first and last name, a personal profile, an email address, a home or other physical address, or other contact information.
  2. Terms of Use. This Privacy Policy forms part of our Terms of Use which is available at https://www.gable.to/terms-of-use for Guests, and at https://www.gable.to/host-terms-of-use for Hosts (“Terms”). Any capitalized but undefined term in this Privacy Policy shall have the meaning given to it in the Terms.
  3. Consent and Modification. You are not legally obligated to provide us Personal Information, and you hereby confirm that providing us Personal Information is at your own free will. By using the Site, you consent to the terms of this Privacy Policy and to our collection, processing and sharing of Personal Information for the purposes set forth herein. If you do not agree to this Privacy Policy, please do not access or otherwise use the Site. We reserve the right, at our discretion, to change this Privacy Policy at any time. For material changes, we will provide at least thirty (30) days’ notice prior to the changes taking effect, by posting the updated Privacy Policy on the Site and, where appropriate, by email or in-product notice. For non-material changes, the updated Privacy Policy will be effective seven (7) days after posting. Your continued use of the Site after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the updated Private Policy.
  4. What Personal Information We Collect and How We Collect It. We do not currently require you to provide Personal Information in order to access general information available on the Site. We receive and collect Personal Information from you in the following ways:
    Account.
In order to use certain services, you may be required to create an account (“Account”). To List or Book a Gable on the Platform, you must register for an account by submitting the information requested in the ‘host onboarding flow’ or ‘guest onboarding flow’ (as may apply to you), or any other applicable web form. You are required to provide us with certain mandatory information such as your full name, date of birth, a valid phone number, and email address, and verify them to keep your Account secure (as well as a password, unless you choose to login using a third-party account such as Google, LinkedIn, Facebook or Apple, in which case you will not need to set up a password) (“Account Information”). For Hosts, we also collect the address of their Gables. We may also ask that you provide identity verification means, such as details of a social media account and/or a valid driver’s license or passport.
    Third Party Accounts.
You may choose to create an Account by clicking on a ‘connect’ or ‘sign-in’ button for a designated third-party website or service (each, a “Third Party Account”), such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Apple, or Google. Doing so links your Account and your Third Party Account. You will be required to approve the connection and the types of information we obtain from your Third Party Account.
Regardless of which method you choose, we may send an email to your nominated email address to confirm your registration. If you choose not to create an Account, you may not be able to access or use certain features of the Site.
    ‘Contact Us’ Information.
If you send us a “Contact Us” request, you may be required to provide certain information such as your name and email address.
    Share with Friends Service.
The Site may enable you to invite friends to use our Site. If you send or post an invitation message, we may collect Personal Information about the recipient such as their email address or third-party website account user name and ID.
    Profile.
Some parts of the Site may enable you to build a public profile in connection with your Account (“Public Profile”). Your Public Profile will include your name, workstyle, personal and professional interests, and other information you choose to include, such as a description of your Gables if you are a Host.
    Purchases.
The Site may include the option to purchase products or services from us. If you choose to make a purchase, you must provide account and billing information, invoice-related information, and other data required to process the order. We may use third-party service providers such as Stripe to process transactions on our behalf.
    Log Files.
We may make use of log files. Information inside log files includes IP addresses, type of browser, Internet Service Provider, date/time stamp, referring/exit pages, clicked pages, and any other information your browser may send to us.
    Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies.
Our Site may utilize cookies, anonymous identifiers, and other tracking technologies to provide our Site and present you with customized information. Most browsers allow you to control cookies, including whether to accept them and how to remove them.
  5. Publicly Available Information. Your Public Profile and any content that you post on or via the Site (“User Submissions”) may be publicly available to other Site users, and may also be accessed and used by people off the Site. The notices and tools that we provide on the Site are intended to inform you which information will be made publicly available. If you publish your contact information in any User Submissions or as part of your Public Profile, you may receive unsolicited messages from other users of the Site or the public. We, therefore, encourage you only to post information that you are sure you want to be accessible to anyone.
  6. The Way We Use Personal Information. If you submit or we collect Personal Information through the Site, we may use such Personal Information in the following ways, via any applicable communication channel including email and SMS:
    • To provide and improve our Site, send marketing and advertisement communications, contact you in connection with the Site and certain programs you may have registered for, and identify and authenticate your access to the parts of the Site you are authorized to access. We will provide some relevant Personal Information of yours to the Host of your Booked Gable (if you are a Guest), or to a Guest at your Gable (if you are a Host), such as your name, email address, the address of your Gables, and other Host instructions.
    • If you are using the Site on behalf of a company or organization, we may use your Personal Information for marketing purposes within your company or organization, including sending communications to you or other individuals at your company.
    • To send you Platform updates (such as booking confirmations), updates or news regarding the Site and our products, respond to “Contact Us” or administrative requests, and send verifications, confirmations, and cancellations connected to your Account
    • To automatically send invitation emails or messages to friends you invite.
    • To transfer Personal Information to our local or foreign subsidiaries or affiliated companies for storage or processing on our behalf.
    • To share Personal Information with our third-party service providers and partners, but only to assist with our business operations and provide our Site.
    • To disclose Personal Information if we have a good faith belief that disclosure is helpful or reasonably necessary to: (i) comply with applicable law; (ii) enforce our Terms; (iii) detect, prevent, or address fraud or security issues; or (iv) protect against harm to the rights, property or safety of the Company, our users, yourself, or the public.
  7. Use of Anonymous Information. We may use Anonymous Information (as defined below) or disclose it to third party service providers in order to improve our Site and enhance your experience with the Site. We may also disclose Anonymous Information (with or without compensation) to third parties, including advertisers and partners. “Anonymous Information” means information which does not enable identification of an individual user, such as aggregated information about the use of our Site.
  8. Subprocessors. We engage third-party service providers (“subprocessors”) to help us deliver our Site and services. These subprocessors process Personal Information on our behalf under written agreements that require them to maintain appropriate security and confidentiality standards. A current list of our subprocessors is available upon request.
  9. Opting Out. You may choose not to receive future promotional, advertising, or other Site-related emails from us by closing your Account and/or by sending an email to [email protected]. Please note that even if you opt out of receiving the foregoing emails, we may still send you a response to any “Contact Us” request as well as administrative emails (for example, in connection with a password reset request) that are necessary to facilitate your use of the Site.
  10. Choice. At all times, you may choose whether or not to provide or disclose Personal Information. If you choose not to provide mandatory Personal Information, you may still visit parts of the Site, but you may be unable to access certain options, programs, offers, and services that involve our interaction with you.
  11. Access/Accuracy. To the extent that you do provide us with Personal Information, we wish to maintain accurate Personal Information. If you would like to delete or correct any of your other Personal Information that we may be storing, you may use the tools that we make available on the Site or you may submit an access request by sending an email to [email protected]. Your email should include adequate details of your request.
  12. Links to and Interaction with Third Party Products. The Site may enable you to interact with or contain links to your Third Party Account and other third party websites, mobile software applications and services that are not owned or controlled by us (each a “Third Party Service”). We are not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such Third Party Services. Please be aware that Third Party Services may collect Personal Information from you. Accordingly, we encourage you to read the terms and conditions and privacy policy of each Third Party Service that you choose to use or interact with.
  13. Children’s Privacy. Our Site and services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected Personal Information from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly. If you believe we may have collected such information, please contact us at [email protected].
Our Terms of Use additionally require users to be at least 18 years old to register an account. This is a contractual requirement, separate from our obligations under the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
  14. Security. The security of Personal Information is important to us. We follow generally accepted industry standards, including appropriate administrative, physical, and technical safeguards, to protect Personal Information submitted to us. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we use reasonable means to protect your Personal Information, we cannot guarantee absolute security or confidentiality.
In the event of a data breach affecting your Personal Information, we will notify you and applicable regulatory authorities without undue delay and in accordance with applicable law. Where we process Personal Information on behalf of an enterprise customer, we will notify the customer of any confirmed breach in accordance with our agreement with that customer.
If you have questions about security, please contact us at [email protected].
  15. Merger, Sale, or Bankruptcy. In the event we are acquired by or merged with a third-party entity, or in the event of bankruptcy or a comparable event, we reserve the right to transfer or assign Personal Information in connection with such event. We will notify affected individuals where required by applicable law.
  16.  California Privacy Rights. California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits California residents to request information regarding our disclosure of Personal Information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. To make such a request, please contact us at [email protected]. We are required to respond to one request per customer per year.
  17. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track Signals. Most major web browsers do not currently provide a uniform “Do Not Track” signal. We do not respond to Do Not Track signals at this time, but we honor GPC signals as described above.
  18. Deletion of Content from California Residents Under 18. If you are a California resident under the age of 18 and a registered user of our Site, California Business and Professions Code Section 22581 permits you to request removal of content or Personal Information that you have publicly posted. To make such a request, please contact us at [email protected] and specify the content or Personal Information you wish to have removed. Please note:
    • Removal is not reversible — once content is removed, it cannot be restored.
    • Removal may not result in complete or comprehensive deletion of the content, for example where copies are retained by other users, third parties, or in our backup systems.
    • The law does not require removal in all circumstances, and we will act in accordance with applicable law.
Our Terms of Use require users to be at least 18 years old to register an account.
  19. Contact Us. We are committed to protecting your privacy. Privacy practices are an evolving area, and we continue to update our practices to meet new standards and regulations.
